چکیده

We conservatively extend the declarative Dynamic Condition Response (DCR)Graph process model, introduced in the PhD thesis of the second author, to allowfor discrete time deadlines. We prove that safety and liveness properties can beverified by mapping finite timed DCR Graphs to finite state transition systems. We exemplify how deadlines can introduce time-locks and deadlocks and violateliveness. We then prove that the general technique for safe distribution of DCRGraphs provided in previous work can be extended to timed DCR Graphs. Weexemplify the use of timed DCR Graphs and the distribution technique in praxison a timed extension of a cross-organizational case management process arisingfrom a previous case study. The example shows how a timed DCR Graph can beused to describe the global contract for a timed workflow process involving severalorganizations, which can then be distributed as a network of communicating timedDCR Graphs describing the local contract for each organization.

Declarative Modelling and Safe Distribution of Healthcare Workflows

We present a formal technique for safe distribution of workflow processes described declaratively as Nested Condition Response (NCR) Graphs and apply the technique to a distributed healthcare workflow. Concretely, we provide a method to synthesize from an NCR Graph and any distribution of its events a set of local process graphs communicating by shared events, such that the distributed executio...

A Three-Layer Framework for Cross-Organizational e-Contract Enactment

In an e-commerce environment, contracts are important for attaining business process interoperability and enforcing their proper enactment. An e-contract is the computerized facilitation or automation of a contract in a cross-organizational business process. We find that econtract facilitation can be divided into multiple levels and perspectives, which has not been adequately addressed before. ...
